Reader's comment about the Ghost Pet Picture:

This picture of the ghost cat called 'The Dude' was sent by our friend Cathy. She is quite psychic herself and has often felt spirit people close to her. She lives in a spooky old mansion in London.

Soon after this ghost picture was taken, the Dude sadly died. Perhaps the ghost picture shows that the The Dude was preparing to make his exit. I'm sure that this much loved pet has a place in the next world.

    MY FELINE FLOWER

    My cat was dying of cancer of the liver and wouldn't come to bed so I stayed up through the night nursing her. At 3 a.m. my attention was drawn to a large pale pink hydrangea plant outside the living room window. As I watched the flower changed to a vivid electric blue even though the street lights were yellow. After a few minutes the flower returned to normal and my little cat died in my arms.

    For some of us pets are almost as important as people. When the flower changed colour you were perhaps being shown that there is a place in the afterlife for all living things capable of love.

    PUSSY CAT TWINKLE

    Some time ago my little tabby cat Twinkle had to be put to sleep. When she was alive one of her favourite places to sleep was in the conservatory on a cushion on the end of the coffee table near a wicker stand
    One warm, still June day I saw the heavy wicker stand shake furiously.

    I stood for what seemed ages- but must of in reality been a few minutes- and watched as the plants nearby rattled in their saucers. I could hardly believe my eyes but will never forget what I saw.

    What happened has never been explained to me. I've always had the feeling it was Twinkle. She was a very happy psychic cat when alive.

    And I can't explain either. Maybe the shaking was caused by the wood of the wicker stand expanding in the heat. Or maybe a heavy lorry going by made your house tremor. Or just maybe it was the spirit of Twinkle letting you know she's all right.
